I would like to be able to create clickable URLs within chatbot conversations so that users can be redirected either to a page in Applaud or an external page. Currently the experience is not great as you have to copy and paste the URL in to a browser.
I would also love the ability to include images in chatbots so that if you are designing a step-by-step, hold your hand guide, you can add screenshots etc for users.
Hello Mark, thank you for raising this idea - we have some good news for you! So, we currently have extensive chatbot capabilities within Applaud for building "rules-based" bots.
1) Images and links in rules-based bots:
You can already include both images and text within chat replies in such bots - please reach out to your Applaud contact who can take you through how to achieve this.
2) Images video (and markdown formatting) in generative AI bots
We are actively developing enhanced bots that use the latest generative AI technology - one of many exciting features of our new genAI bots and AI-Assistant will be support for images, video and markdown. These features are planned for release in 2024.
As all functionality of this idea either exists or is planned in other ideas, I will close this idea as a duplicate. However, can I please encourage you to vote on the following ideas which cover these features:
