Would be great to have a generic option on lists to enable social reactions and/or commenting. For example:
Reactions, eg, thumbs up/down/celebrate/etc on a list item
Adding a comment on a list item
Editing a comment (if you're the owner)
Deleting a comment (if you're the owner)
Report a comment (if inappropriate). I guess this goes to a special 'reported comments page' for remediation
Ability for a super user to edit or delete a comment
Reacting to a comment
Replying to a comment
Reacting to a reply
Removing a reaction (if you created it)
Seeing the number of reactions
Ability to show comments by default, or optionally use a toggle button with count i.e. "4 comments" - pressing once to show (expand) and second press to hide (contract)
This generic construct would be super useful in loads of places and would be an incredible source of data to feed into an AI model for recommendations.
Other admin options on consideration:
Optionally choosing a boolean on the model that defines whether commenting is enabled or not (eg, commentingDisabled=true). Similar to reactions possibly.
Specifying whether it's reactions only or reactions+commenting. Is there a use-case for commenting only? Not sure?
Enabling 'negative' comments. I imagine HR might only want thumbs up to things like highlights!
